Kolymbithres – Monastiri

On your way to Naoussa and further to the west you will see the beach of Kolymbithres and then that of Monastiri. These two are among the most popular beaches on the island, for no other reason than their unique scenery. Kolymbithres beach is sandy; however, massive rocks dominate the scene. Due to the decay and decomposition of the rocks, natural alcoves have been formed that fill with sea water and resemble baptismal fonts (Kolymbithres).

Monastiri and Kolymbithres are the optimal destination during wind-season. Both beaches are accessible by car / bike, while you can also take the boat that departs from Naoussa bay.
